KOC25 Round 2 – Adur Model Car Club \| Shoreham-by-Sea

Class Highlights

FWD

With Ben Moorey moving to 17.5, the field opened up.

  • Jack Collins (Eastbourne) took the first win.
  • Jay Westwood (Aldershot) responded with the second.
  • Craig Woods (Colchester) won both B finals. One of the best drives of the day.

Talent Cup

It’s Eastbourne vs Aldershot here, just like in the Teams table.

  • Chloe Snashall (Eastbourne) won the first after Harry Johnson (Aldershot) was penalised.
  • Harry came back strong with a dominant Race 2 win.

17.5 Stock Touring Car

  • Billy Fletcher (Eastbourne) returned with a bang—winning Race 1.
  • Ricky Copsey (West London) stormed to a Race 2 win.
  • Ben Moorey took second in both, now in contention for the Drivers title.

There were also final wins for
James Davis,
Jay Barguss,
Luke Thompson,
Soteris Liasi,
Ethan Southall and
Matt Quinlisk—scores that quietly keep teams alive in this championship.

Masters Touring Car

Aldershot’s
Damian Tigwell returned to the fold and made it count—winning both races in a tight fight with
Dave Ringsell and
Damian Giddins (West London).

Ian Diboll and
Marlon Mckulsky swapped B final wins.

Masters might be a smaller field, but the top end is fierce.

Rookies Cup

No team points here, but it’s worth mentioning—
Finley Harrison did the double again. Four finals, four wins. Archie Weston and Hamish Dunlop chased him home. Impressive driving from all the Rookies.

EASTBOURNE ELECTRIC CAR CLUB in June—a circuit that always produces great racing and close margins. Aldershot may be ahead, but Eastbourne are hunting them down – and with their home race next, the champs are in an irritatingly strong position. Adur, Colchester and West London are due a result.
